Yes; its entirely reasonable to believe that women (and men), seeing one of their own (a fellow victim) willing to stand up and report an incident of sexual assault in the most public of forums, would find the strength to report their own instances of such assaults. We should be happy that were empowering people (not just women) to take a stand and tell the truth about things that have been traditionally swept under the rug.
